Welcome to the 26th Korfball U17 World Cup

We proudly present the 26th edition of the Korfball U17 World Cup in Eindhoven! What started as a modest youth tournament has grown into a truly international event, bringing together the world’s most talented young korfball players for a weekend of sport, friendship, and unforgettable memories.

This international korfball tournament for players under 17 will be held in sports centre De Vijfkamp in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, and is patronized by the International Korfball Federation (IKF). The local korfball clubs Attila, DSC, Eymerick and Rust Roest will assist the KNKV with the organization of this event.

Saturday, poule phase: The teams will play in round robin format within their own group.
Sunday, the concluding day: Finishing the poule phase, then the cross matches and finals.

Netherlands U17 World Champion 2026 after beating Belgium (8-18)!

In a never boring match The Netherlands U17 team has become World Champion for the 16th time. But the gap between Belgium, Chinese Taipei and Czechia becomes smaller and smaller \xe2\x80\x93 a promise for the future!

In this final The Netherlands started well with 0-3 and this gap stayed the same until the break 5-8. After the break Belgium forgot to score what resulted in 5-12. Via 7-15 the match ended in a well deserved 8-18 victory. Congratulations, Netherlands!

Our new U17 selection is very excited. The team has worked hard to form a squad that supports each other in the game and also beyond that. The new coaches are therefore very proud of this team and of the way they have worked on their selection for a year with a lot of commitment and conviction.
